Cladding Cleaning in Irlam

Irlam's position on the ship canal corridor gives its cladding a damp edge. Logistics units, distribution buildings and the retail park wear large metal and composite walls that collect road film and dust from constant vehicle movement, while the town's houses grow algae on shaded, damp sides. Our industrial and warehouse cladding cleaning handles the big walls; residential cladding cleaning handles the houses — both from the same mobile team.

Irlam sits on the Manchester Ship Canal corridor between Manchester and Warrington, with the M60 and the A57 close by. Its commercial life centres on logistics units, distribution buildings and the retail park, all wearing large metal and composite elevations that collect road film and dust from constant vehicle movement. The town's housing, much of it with uPVC and composite cladding, adds the quieter pattern of algae on shaded, damp walls.

Canal-side weather adds a further factor. Damp air and wind off the water keep some elevations wet longer, and wet panels grow algae in joints and profiles faster than dry ones. That is why shaded canal-facing walls often need soft wash treatment — solution given time to break growth down in the grooves — while road-facing commercial elevations need a thorough wash to lift ingrained traffic film.

An Irlam visit starts with a survey: panel materials, staining on every elevation, height and access, including yard space and parking. Washing then runs section by section, rinse water controlled so it does not stain forecourts, paths or neighbouring property, and each finished elevation is checked in daylight before the team moves on.

To arrange an Irlam visit, call or WhatsApp at any hour — nights and weekends included. Tell us the logistics unit, shop or house, its panels and its height, and we will set out the wash each elevation needs, how yard access will work, and the finish to expect, for Irlam itself or neighbours across the canal in Partington.
